Within the scope of this Photoworkshop you will, under the professional photographic direction of Antonino Zambito and in company of a native Guide, become brought up to the country and the people. You will thereby receive individual assistance if necessary from basic hints on the operation of the camera up to professional hints on picture design and - composition. With us there are no precious determined learning contents, but we keep on to your knowledge status and your needs.

The photo course or photo journey is suitable both for ambitious beginners, those who already have over basic knowledge in photography, and also for advanced photographers, who have also fallen to it to have a Photoworkshop with a journey combined. With us you receive exactly those contents and hints, which bring you individually an important step ahead.

This photo journey also involves the picture review. Here you have the daily opportunity of showing and discussing your pictures in detail.

You receive - if you like - valuable hints and notes regarding your pictures to still improve and sharpen your view for interesting motives and picture compositions.

Day 1 Istanbul –
Ashgabat
Arrival at Ashgabat airport by TK via ISTANBUL.
Meet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation in the hotel.
Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 2 Ashgabat Breakfast
Morning sightseeing in Ashgabat: Nisa - the residence of Parthian Kings (3rd century BC – 3rd century AD)
Afternoon sightseeing: Arch of Neutrality, Presidential Square, Monument of Independence, New Grand Mosque in Kipchak.
Dinner.
Day 3 Ashgabat –
Mary –
Ashgabat
Early Breakfast
Transfer to the airport to catch the domestic flight to Mary (350 km east of Ashgabat).
On arrival transfer to Old Merv (20km).
Sightseeing in Old Merv: Erk Kala – an Achaemenid city (6th century BC) Gyaur Kala fortress (3rd century BC), 38m-high mausoleum of Sultan Sanjar – the best remaining testimony of Seljuq power (12th century), Mohammed ibn Zeid Mausoleum (12th century), Large and Small Gyz Kala two fortresses-palaces of the 7th century, Yusuf Hamadani Mosque constructed above the tomb of the 12th Century dervish – a pilgrimage site.
Return flight to Ashgabat.
Dinner.
Day 4 Ashgabat –
Dashoguz –
Khiva
Early Breakfast.
Flight to Dashoguz (650 km north of Ashgabat across the Karakum desert).
On arrival transfer to Kunye Urgench (150 km north-west from Dashoguz).
Sightseeing in Kunye Urgench: Dash Kala Caravanserai (14th century); Sultan Tekesh Mausoleum (12th century); II-Arslan Mausoleum (12th century) – Konye-Urgench's oldest standing monument; the 14th century minaret of Kutlug Timur the highest minaret in Central Asia (67 m); Turabek Khanum Mausoleum (mid 14th century).
Transfer to the Uzbek border. Crossing the Turkmen-Uzbek border.
Transfer to Khiva. Accommodation in the hotel.
Dinner.
Day 5 Khiva Breakfast.
Morning sightseeing in Khiva: Visit to the oldest part of the city: Kunya-Ark fortress, including Kurinish Khana (17th century); Mohammed-Amin-Khan Madrassah (19th century), Islam Khodja Minaret; Palvan-Kari complex, Abd Al Bobo complex (18th century), Rafanek Madrassah, Mohammed Rakim Khan (19th century), Amir-Tur Madrassah, Sho-I-Kalandar Bobo Mausoleum.
Afternoon sightseeing in Khiva: Uch Avlioli («three saints») Mausoleum, Jami Mosque (18th century), Kutluq-Murad Inaq Madrassah (19th century), Pakhlavan Mahmoud Mausoleum, Tash Hauli Palace, Alla-Kuli-Khan (18th century), Arab Mohammed Khan (18th century) Madrassahs.
Dinner.
Day 6 Khiva –
Bukhara
Breakfast.
Transfer to Bukhara (450km south-east of Khiva across the Kyzylkum desert).
On arrival to Bukhara accommodation in the hotel.
Dinner.
Day 7 Bukhara Breakfast.
Morning sightseeing in Bukhara: Ismael Samani mausoleum (9-10th centuries), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleums (14th century), Registan ensemble, Ark Fortress (16th century) and Bolo-Hauz complex (18th century).
Afternoon sightseeing: Poi-Kalon ensemble (including Minaret (12th century), Mosque (15th century), functioning Madrassah Miri-Arab (16th century), Amir-Alim-Khan Madrassah (14th century), Taqi (trading domes), Kukeldash Madrassah (16th century).
National dinner with folklore show.
Day 8 Bukhara Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour Lyab-i-Hauz (17th century), Nadir Divanbegi (17th century), Magoki Attari (16th century), Ulugbek Madrassah (15th century), Abdul Aziz Madrassah (17th century), Chor-Minor.
Transfer to the summer residence of the last Emir, visit to Nakshbandy.
Dinner at the local restaurant.
Day 9 Bukhara –
Samarkand
Breakfast.
Transfer to Samarkand along the Royal Road.
On arrival to Samarkand accommodation in the hotel.
Dinner.
Day 10  Samarkand Breakfast.
Morning sightseeing: Registan Ensemble (including Ulugbek Madrassah (15th century), Shir Dor and Tillya-Kari Madrassahs (17th century), Bibi Khanum Mosque (15th century), Visit to the local bazaar.
Afternoon sightseeing: Ulugbek observatory (15th century).
Visit to Carpet manufacturing factory.
Dinner.
Day 11 Samarkand Breakfast.
Morning sightseeing: Gur-Emir Mausoleum (15th century) Shahi- Zinda necropolis (14-15th centuries).
Afternoon: Time at leisure.
Dinner.
Day 12  Samarkand –
Tashkent
Early breakfast.
Transfer to Tashkent (315 km north-east of Samarkand; the road runs through the rocky Pass of Jilanuti and then down to the valley between the Nurata and Turkestan hills, with cotton or wheat fields and gardens as main landscape).
On arrival to Tashkent – accommodation in the hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing tour in Tashkent: Barak-Khan and Kaffal-Shashi mausoleums (16th century), Friday Mosque, Kukeldash Madrassah (16th century).
Dinner.
Day 13  Tashkent Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour (optional).
In the afternoon: time at leisure.
